Unless you've been staying under a rock lately, you undoubtedly know about this new program to hit the network marketing scene...Numis Network. It approximately appears like everybody who's anyone online is supporting this program. I have to confess that I was curious so I signed up, read through the marketing material, the comp plan, and attended a webinar. I did not join though so...

Product: The Numis Network items are silver and gold numismatic coins. With your monthly autoship you get a coin. These coins are in a plastic case and in perfect condition. The idea is that overtime, the coins will appreciate in cost...specially if they are kept in right form. The coins are not uncommon, though, and I'm wondering if the Numis Network grows to mammoth proportions and there are tons of these coins floating around...will that diminish their value?
Ownership: The ownership of Numis seems to be imposing, with 4 people - Ian Cordell, Christopher Kent, Jake Kevorkian, and Mike Mezack. Their bios show that they have been engaged in the network marketing industry for more than 10 years each. Numis truly pushes Mike Mezack out front, as people apparently know him from coin collecting shows and the Home Shopping Network, as a pitch-man for coins. This is helping lend credibility to the business, which started in August 2009.
Price To Join and Comp Plan: The cost to join as a distributor is $299. After signing up, you get on auto-ship for $99.95 every month. There is even a monthly fee of $9.95 to have use of the online marketing system. The comp plan is a binary plan, that looks pretty good to me to the extent that MLM comp plans are related. Summary: I expect that this Numis Network review was insightful. I'm personally not big on MLM programs. Having to recruit an army of distributors to make a few bucks off of each one every month, if you're fortunate, is not my thing. I do feel it's a cool notion to be "selling" money. Definitely more alluring and unique than the nutritional and vitamin products that flood our industry. Numis may create some neophyte coin collectors, which will help the company. Time will tell how many human truly make good money from the program. I suspect it will be like any other MLM. There will be those who climb to the top and make a killing and the masses won't recruit anyone and simply become coin collectors until they move on to something else!
So...my bottom line is if I was looking to sign up an MLM, I would be more suitable to join Numis than I would a Juice or Vitamin product company...more for the exclusivity of the product than actually anything else. I guess it just didn't excite me the way it excited others.
