You will have to figure that if Apple themselves are having a problem keeping up with the demand then exactly how is the distributor going to come up with these types of units to sell.
For those who have pre-ordered your iPad online, you will receive your unit within a couple of weeks after the release date. Now a number of people want to try and trade in their current Apple iPad units and for a good reason. Due to the drastic modifications made to the iPad 2 some feel that they need to be able to turn the other unit in and obtain some sort of a discount.
Some companies are doing this so keep your eyes and ears open.
